La Junta, CO- Otero played McCook Community College at home on Friday coming up with a 3-0 loss. Otero did see some improvements from the last matchup with MCCC.  Coach Berry stated, "We are serving much stronger at this point in the season and forced them to adjust and hit other options against us than we allowed when we played in McCook."

 Valarie Allen led the way offensively with a .211 hitting percentage and Nicole Gartner blocked very well defensively; she also added 3 aces.

Friday night was also Sophomore Night. The Rattlers honored 11 sophomores for their dedication here.
