The Otero College Rattlers won their series against Western Nebraska CC this past week in Scottsbluff, Nebraska 3-1.

Destiny Martinez, the starting pitcher, for the Rattlers in the opening game pitched well and also contributed in the box hitting a home run in the 4th inning. The Rattlers finished game one with a 13-10 win. The second game ended with another win for the Lady Rattlers, the final score being 4-1.
On day two of the series, the Rattlers finished game 1 with a close score of 7-6, winning with Keira Gray on the mound. Finishing the series on the road, the Rattlers lost the last game 7-8.

Multiple hits from the Rattlers offense helped secure the wins, Alyson Greenlund, Anna Barraza, Kamryn Foster, Whitney Boone and Marissa West all showed their power at the plate and had doubles in the series against Western Nebraska CC.

The Otero Rattlers are preparing for their next encounter against McCook CC at Tippy Martinez Field, La Junta, this weekend April 5th and 6th.
